Harry's Berries - Run by Molly and Rick Gean, this family-owned, organic certified farm has been delighting customers for more than 50 years. Their sweet, tart, fragrant, and juicy strawberries led to them being recognized as an AMERICAN MADE HONOREE by Martha Stewart! Rancho Soquel Farm - "Rancho Soquel is a CCOF Organic Certified farm on 119 acres, tucked into the Santa Cruz Mountains. They strive to grow the best, most nutrient-dense food and do it with full transparency and integrity. Mission-driven, they are committed to: Respecting, listening to, and working intimately with nature; Prioritizing soil remineralization; Nurturing diverse soil microbe populations; Supporting pollinators and biodiversity. Purchased in 2017, they’ve been reviving the soil, learning the land’s patterns, and planning an oasis for happy pollinators and crops. The team has planted hundreds of fruit trees and acres of cover crop to nourish this land. Heavy mulching in perennial zones is encouraging stable, fungal-dominated soil around our fields, naturally increasing organic matter." Dirty Girl Produce - "Dirty Girl Produce is a small-scale organic farm located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains of California. Founded in 1995 by farmer Joe Schirmer, the farm is known for its high-quality, sustainably grown produce. At Dirty Girl Produce, the focus is on cultivating healthy soil and using natural, sustainable farming practices to grow a diverse array of fruits and vegetables. The farm's produce is sold through local farmers markets, as well as through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program that delivers fresh, seasonal produce directly to customers. One of Dirty Girl Produce's core values is environmental sustainability. The farm uses only organic and biodynamic farming methods, and works to minimize its impact on the environment through practices like water conservation and energy efficiency. In addition to its commitment to sustainability, Dirty Girl Produce is also dedicated to supporting the local community. The farm participates in a number of charitable initiatives, including donating produce to local food banks and working with schools to promote healthy eating habits. Overall, Dirty Girl Produce is a shining example of a small-scale, sustainable farm that is making a big impact on its local community and beyond."

Can I order from multiple vendors in one order?
Yes! Our service allows you to order from as many vendors as you like. After selecting your region and delivery date at the top of the page, you'll be able to browse all the products that are available. Regardless of how many products or vendors you order you'll only pay the $5 flat delivery fee (there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50)
How much is the delivery fee? Are there any other fees?
The delivery fee is $5 flat, no matter how many small businesses you order from. We have no other service fees, however, there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50. There are no subscriptions, order only when you want!
Do I have to be home for the delivery?
You do not have to be home at the time of delivery - your order will be packed to stay fresh for up to 4 hours. You’ll receive a text when your order is on its way with a link to track your driver.
Do items arrive fresh or frozen?
You can click on a product to see the state that it arrives in. Most pastries are baked the same day as delivery and meals are either frozen or fresh and arrive with cooking instructions.
Can I add to my order?
Yes! You can add to your order up until the day before delivery. Just use the code ADD at checkout.
Is Locale environmentally friendly?
Yes! While we deliver from far away vendors, we batch all orders - meaning we pick up and deliver to many customers all on one driver's route. This means that your order doesn’t actually increase the amount of miles that we drive. We also reuse almost all of our packaging and you can leave boxes from your previous orders out that our drivers will pick up! Read more here.
