Orders are delivered every Friday and can be placed up until 6pm the day before. We place orders with vendors days ahead of pick up so that they can plan their production, reduce waste, and give staff time to make their amazing products. This also allows us to limit our environmental impact and reduce delivery fees for you.

For more than 60 years, C & K Importing Company has been serving the Greek community on the same corner at 2771 West Pico Boulevard. Sam Chrys opened the market in 1948 with intentions to bring the foods and wines of Greece to Los Angeles. He did so by importing all products from Greece while still maintaining a low price to his valued customers and friends. C & K Importing Company grew into a market where all ethnicities came to visit and always enjoyed the purity of the product assortment. In 1968 Chrys Chrys purchased the business from his father to carry on the legacy. Chrys Chrys had an idea to open a Greek restaurant. He traveled to the many regions and islands of Greece to understand the flavors and tastes in authentic Greek cooking. He wanted to bring this authenticity back to his restaurant. In the early 1990’s, Papa Cristo’s Taverna was established. C & K Importing Company and Papa Cristo’s Taverna are known as Athens in Los Angeles. The reputation of C & K Importing Company and Papa Cristo’s Taverna has grown past California and to as far as Greece itself. Chrys Chrys takes pride in providing his customers and friends with the best tasting foods, best service, and best prices – just like his father. Papa Cristo’s uses a family secret blend of spices in all of their cooking but, when their patrons continuously asked them what seasonings were being used to cook with, they decided to make it available for everyone. You can use it on everything! Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Turkey, Veggies, Pasta Sauces, Salad Dressings, Marinades and More! Try some and you will be hooked. Chrys Chrys’ youngest daughter, Annie Chrys joined the business in 2010 as the third generation. Today, Chrys and Annie work alongside each other to grow the business as well as Chrys’ mother, (also) Annie, and Chrys’ first cousin Mark. We are truly a family-run business and take great pride in providing our patrons with the highest quality and best tasting Greek home-style cuisine.

Can I order from multiple vendors in one order?
Yes! Our service allows you to order from as many vendors as you like. After selecting your region and delivery date at the top of the page, you'll be able to browse all the products that are available. Regardless of how many products or vendors you order you'll only pay the $5 flat delivery fee (there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50)
How much is the delivery fee? Are there any other fees?
The delivery fee is $5 flat, no matter how many small businesses you order from. We have no other service fees, however, there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50. There are no subscriptions, order only when you want!
Do I have to be home for the delivery?
You do not have to be home at the time of delivery - your order will be packed to stay fresh for up to 4 hours. You’ll receive a text when your order is on its way with a link to track your driver.
Do items arrive fresh or frozen?
You can click on a product to see the state that it arrives in. Most pastries are baked the same day as delivery and meals are either frozen or fresh and arrive with cooking instructions.
Can I add to my order?
Yes! You can add to your order up until the day before delivery. Just use the code ADD at checkout.
Is Locale environmentally friendly?
Yes! While we deliver from far away vendors, we batch all orders - meaning we pick up and deliver to many customers all on one driver's route. This means that your order doesn’t actually increase the amount of miles that we drive. We also reuse almost all of our packaging and you can leave boxes from your previous orders out that our drivers will pick up! Read more here.
