We place orders with vendors days ahead of pick up so that they can plan their production, reduce waste, and give staff time to make their amazing products. This also allows us to limit our environmental impact and reduce delivery fees for you.

Nestled in the heart of the Santa Rita Hills, Sunrise Organic Farms produces some of the highest quality organic produce in California. In 2015, head farmers, Jesus, Andrew, and Chuy decided to take their combined 52 years of organic growing experience and launch Sunrise Organic Farm. Starting with a small 12-acre parcel in Carpinteria, Sunrise has expanded to 7 different locations, consisting of more than 200 acres across beautiful Santa Barbara County. Throughout the year we grow over 215 varieties of seasonal crop row vegetables, ranging from carrots, kales and herbs to peppers, tomatoes and strawberries. Sunrise’s continual addition of new and unique varietals keeps our team and our customers delighted.

Can I order from multiple vendors in one order?
Yes! Our service allows you to order from as many vendors as you like. After selecting your region and delivery date at the top of the page, you'll be able to browse all the products that are available. Regardless of how many products or vendors you order you'll only pay the $5 flat delivery fee (there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50)
How much is the delivery fee? Are there any other fees?
The delivery fee is $5 flat, no matter how many small businesses you order from. We have no other service fees, however, there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50. There are no subscriptions, order only when you want!
Do I have to be home for the delivery?
You do not have to be home at the time of delivery - your order will be packed to stay fresh for up to 4 hours. You’ll receive a text when your order is on its way with a link to track your driver.
Do items arrive fresh or frozen?
You can click on a product to see the state that it arrives in. Most pastries are baked the same day as delivery and meals are either frozen or fresh and arrive with cooking instructions.
Can I add to my order?
Yes! You can add to your order up until the day before delivery. Just use the code ADD at checkout.
Is Locale environmentally friendly?
Yes! While we deliver from far away vendors, we batch all orders - meaning we pick up and deliver to many customers all on one driver's route. This means that your order doesn’t actually increase the amount of miles that we drive. We also reuse almost all of our packaging and you can leave boxes from your previous orders out that our drivers will pick up! Read more here.
