For those of you who aren’t familiar, Pandan is a herbaceous tropical plant that grows abundantly in Southeast Asia. In Chinese, it is known as a "fragrant plant" because of its unique, sweet aroma. This Pandan croissant was created since customers greatly enjoyed Hanabi's Ube Almond croissant, so Hanabi decided to introduce yet another exotic flavor. They do not use additives or artificial ingredients in their products so all this bright green color comes from natural Pandan extract. Inside this butter croissant is their handcrafted Pandan almond cream and the croissant is topped with more of this delicious cream. Since Pandan leaves have a grassy vanilla taste with a hint of coconut this croissant is also topped with toasted coconut flakes to accentuate the hints of coconut in the Pandan. If you're looking to try something new & exotic, look no further!
Ingredients
Butter Croissant, Handcrafted Cheesy Sauce; Cheddar Cheese, Jack Cheese, Gruyère Cheese, Aged Parmigiano-Reggiano Crisps
Reheating Instructions
To reheat a Pandan Almond Croissant, you can follow the same steps as reheating a regular almond croissant. Here's how:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Place the croissant on a baking sheet or in an oven-safe dish.
3. Cover the croissant with aluminum foil to prevent it from burning.
4. Heat the croissant in the preheated oven for 12 minutes until it is heated through and the crust is crispy.
5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Alternatively, you can reheat the croissant in a microwave. Follow these steps:
1. Place the croissant on a microwave-safe plate.
2. Cover the croissant with a damp paper towel to prevent it from drying out.
3. Microwave the croissant on high for 15-20 seconds.
4. Check the croissant and if it needs to be heated more, microwave it for another 5-10 seconds.
5. Remove from the microwave and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
