Details

St. Louis-style spare ribs are the meatier ribs cut from the belly of the hog. They're flatter than baby back ribs, which makes them easier to brown. Cream Co. loves slow smoking these ribs over open fire, perfect for your next BBQ or outdoor gathering. This product is shipped frozen for quality and freshness purposes.

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Remove the ribs from the freezer and unwrap them.
  3. Place the ribs on a large sheet of aluminum foil, and wrap the foil around the ribs to create a packet.
  4. Place the foil-wrapped ribs on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours.
  6. After the initial cooking time, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully open the foil packet.
  7. Brush the ribs with your favorite barbecue sauce, and return them to the oven for an additional 20-30 minutes.
  8. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Note: Keep in mind that the cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the ribs and the characteristics of your oven. It's important to cook the ribs until they are fully cooked through (the internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C) and tender. You can check the internal temperature of the meat using a meat thermometer. Additionally, you can finish the ribs on a grill or under the broiler for a smokier flavor and a caramelized crust.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out to our customer success team directly at orders@shoplocale.com
Can I order from multiple vendors in one order?
Yes! Our service allows you to order from as many vendors as you like. After selecting your region and delivery date at the top of the page, you'll be able to browse all the products that are available. Regardless of how many products or vendors you order you'll only pay the $5 flat delivery fee (there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50)
How much is the delivery fee? Are there any other fees?
The delivery fee is $5 flat, no matter how many small businesses you order from. We have no other service fees, however, there’s a $6 small order fee if your order is less than $50. There are no subscriptions, order only when you want!
Do I have to be home for the delivery?
You do not have to be home at the time of delivery - your order will be packed to stay fresh for up to 4 hours. You’ll receive a text when your order is on its way with a link to track your driver.
Do items arrive fresh or frozen?
You can click on a product to see the state that it arrives in. Most pastries are baked the same day as delivery and meals are either frozen or fresh and arrive with cooking instructions.
Can I add to my order?
Yes! You can add to your order up until the day before delivery. Just use the code ADD at checkout.
Is Locale environmentally friendly?
Yes! While we deliver from far away vendors, we batch all orders - meaning we pick up and deliver to many customers all on one driver's route. This means that your order doesn’t actually increase the amount of miles that we drive. We also reuse almost all of our packaging and you can leave boxes from your previous orders out that our drivers will pick up! Read more here.
