We place orders with vendors days ahead of pick up so that they can plan their production, reduce waste, and give staff time to make their amazing products. These swordfish steaks are sourced from San Pedro, where they are long-line caught for optimal quality and sustainability. Monterey Fish Market is committed to providing the highest quality fish and seafood the Bay Area has to offer. Swordfish is a firm and lean fish, with a rich, buttery flavor and hearty texture that makes it perfect for grilling. However, it's important to be mindful not to overcook it, as it can become tough. When prepared correctly, these swordfish steaks are sure to be a delicious and satisfying addition to any meal.
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the swordfish steaks with olive oil and lemon juice, and season them with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add minced garlic to the olive oil and lemon juice mixture and mix well.
- Place the swordfish steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Baste the swordfish steaks with the garlic-olive oil mixture while grilling.
- Once cooked, use a spatula to carefully remove the swordfish steaks from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.
- Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the swordfish steaks, and serve them hot with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or rice.
